Registered Massage Therapy
Massage Therapy decreases muscle tension, stress and helps alleviate pain. Perhaps less known is the effectiveness of Massage Therapy in treating deeper structures of the body such as ligaments, bones, joints, fascia, blood vessels and nerves. RMTs use clinically relevant assessment tools to design personal, effective treatment plans for patients throughout their life span.
Physiotherapy
Treatment consists of an extensive discussion around symptoms and concerns of the patient. Thorough observational, anatomical and physical assessment is followed by a combination of manual therapies including but not limited to; deep tissue massage, mysofascial trigger point therapy, dry needling/anatomical acupuncture, ultrasound, cupping, sports and kinesio taping methods, joint mobilizations, clinical Pilates and exercise therapy.
Private, Semi-Private and Virtual Pilates Sessions
Pilates is a mindful movement practice that enhances strength, flexibility, and control. It is appropriate for individuals recovering from injuries, those managing chronic pain, or anyone seeking to improve their movement quality and overall body awareness. Pilates can safely challenge the body while accommodating individual needs, and it can help prevent future injuries by promoting better alignment and functional movement patterns.
Pilates Group Classes
Our small group classes accommodate 3 people, and make use of the Reformer and various props. We require all new students to complete either an Intro to the Reformer series, or some private sessions, prior to joining group classes, this ensures you are set up for success. Our classes run in 4 week blocks and we strongly encourage you to pick a time and commit to the 4 weeks, as this will allow you to notice the changes in your body and allow you to progress with the other members of your group. Punch cards and drop in passes are available for purchase by Etransfer. If you would like more information about our group classes please email us.
